MILLER MEDIATION & ARBITRATION

About Me

I have practised in the field of family law dispute resolution since 2002, with a sustained focus on mediation, arbitration, and hybrid processes. For more than two decades, I have worked with families navigating separation, parenting, and financial restructuring—often at moments of high conflict and significant transition. My role is to guide parties toward resolution with clarity, proportionality, and outcomes that are both practical and durable.

At the core of my practice is a commitment to integrity, trust, and rigorous professional standards. I view dispute resolution as more than the resolution of legal issues; it is a structured process that supports families in moving forward with agreements that are carefully calibrated to their circumstances, values, and long-term needs.

My work is grounded in judgment, discernment, and thoughtful process design. I focus on identifying and naming complexity—legal, relational, and emotional—so that it can be addressed constructively rather than left to undermine outcomes. This includes attending to emotional subtext while maintaining clear boundaries and a disciplined, child-centred framework.

Whether facilitating dialogue in mediation or issuing binding determinations in arbitration, I apply the same principles: fairness, pragmatism, and a future-focused orientation. The objective is stability, dignity, and agreements that endure—particularly where children and family legacy are concerned.

Whether facilitating dialogue or delivering binding decisions, I remain committed to processes that are thoughtful, fair, pragmatic and future-focused.
