Miller Mediation & Arbitration provides family law dispute resolution services grounded in clarity, professionalism, and respect for all parties—particularly children.
Ilana Miller is a senior family law neutral offering mediation (open and closed), arbitration, med-arb, parenting coordination, collaborative family law neutral services, Voice of the Child reports, and forensic evaluations under section 30 of the Children’s Law Reform Act. Her practice is focused on helping families navigate complex and emotionally charged disputes with dignity and care.
Ilana holds the highest arbitration and mediation designations in Canada as a Chartered Arbitrator and Chartered Mediator, along with being an Accredited Family Mediator (OAFM), and certified as a Parenting Coordinator (FDRIO). She has also served in governance roles within Ontario’s dispute resolution community, including as Director-at-Large with FDRIO and ADRIO.
With graduate training in child and family psychology (University of Toronto) and a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, specializing in family law and dispute resolution, Ilana brings a rare integration of legal, psychological, and systems-based expertise to her work. This background allows her to manage high-conflict and complex matters with nuance, proportionality, and sound judgment.
Ilana’s approach is child-centred, structured, and solution-focused. She places strong emphasis on rapport-building to reduce tension, while maintaining firm process boundaries that support fairness, safety, and durable outcomes.
