Tools to Manage Stress!

Joe Rogan interviewed Andrew Huberman (originally posted on YouTube and now can be found on Spotify). Andrew Huberman is a tenured professor with the Department of Neurobiology at Stanford University School of Medicine.

Huberman made numerous and important contributions to the fields of brain development, brain plasticity, and neural regeneration and repair. It is worthwhile listening to the entire podcast published on July 23, 2020.

My takeaways from the podcast, are not limited to the best ways to manage stress... but the top tools are as follows: This list is not terribly exciting or earth-shattering, nor exhaustive. There is no magic pill as to how to manage stress- albeit- many doctors and physicians are quick to doll out meds...which at times can be a compelling component to the list below.



Exercise- that dreaded word!

Sleep hygiene

Hydration- drink plenty of water!

Gratitude- practice daily!
